Media Launch Registration

The Media Launch registration includes:

- Media Launch will be on October 8th, 2009 at 6pm at the Arc Hotel, 140 Slater Street, Ottawa

Closing Party Ticket

This gets you into the Official Fashion CURES Closing Party after the Runway Shows on Saturday at the trendy Arc Hotel, 140 Slater Street.

Media/VIP/Staff Pass

The Media Pass is reserved for members of the media, VIP by INVITES ONLY and designated staff.

Program Schedule

Day 1 - Wednesday Nov. 4, 2009

The opening night celebration, presented by SPADE MAGAZINE,  will feature a SILENT AUCTION of designer pieces and models showcasing several of the designers’ outfits, while a DJ spins throughout the evening.

A photography exhibit of work by local and national artists will be on display throughout the event and will be available for purchase.

There will be runway shows featuring collections by designers from across the country.

During intermissions the audience will have the chance to mingle with the designers and celebrities who are in attendance and shop at the silent auction and PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT showcase.

The celebration continues with the Official Opening Night After-Party at Mambo Nuevo lounge at 77 Clarence Street (by invite only, limited space available, please email daniel@spademagazine.ca for more details).

Day 2 - Thursday Nov. 5, 2009

STYLISH TASTE, a fashion foodie party where a fabulous chef menu has been preapred by Sixth Sense Catering, to provide the opportunity for attendants to savour delicious foods while viewing the latest collections.

Runway shows will feature collections by designers from across the country all presented by STARFISH CREATIVE EVENTS & INSPIRATION.

During intermissions the audience will have the chance to mingle with the designers and sample the various foods available at the booths.

The celebration continues with an after-party at St-Louis Bar & Grill at 399 Elgin Street.

Day 3 - Friday Nov. 6, 2009

The audience will be invited to participate in a more hands-on fashion event presented by MURALE. The WARDROBE AUDIT shopping party will feature designer collections for sale and will also feature makeup and manicure stations for attendants to get light touch-ups and test the Fall's new nail colours. 

Runway shows will feature collections by designers from across the country.

During intermissions the audience will have the chance to mingle with the designers and celebrities who are in attendance and shop at the designer booths.

The celebration continues with an after-party at the Loft at 380 Elgin Street (access limited to by invite-only and event ticket purchasers, limited space available, please email news@eventbystarfish.com for more details and information regarding party access).

Day 4 - Saturday Nov. 7, 2009

SPA SOIRÉE, an all beauty party, presented by LE SPA GROUP, is designed to allow guests to test the latest hair and beauty products that have been provided for the event. They can also enjoy getting their hair, nails and makeup done and sneak in a mini massage to regenerate for the upcoming shows and closing party.

Runway shows will feature collections by designers from across the country.

During intermissions the audience will have the chance to mingle with the designers and celebrities who are in attendance and pop in for a quick face and hair touch-up.

A closing party will take place at the trendy Arc Hotel at 140 Slater Street, to finish the evening in fashion.
